Chip and his family have also enjoyed attending and participating in annual Woodlands events like The Woodlands Art Festival and The Woodlands Pride Festival, as well as the annual Fourth of July Parade and the seasonal concerts at Market Street and Hughes Landing.

Chip and his wife Jeanette live in the Village of Alden Bridge with their two children, three dogs, and two cats.
