Amassing sales of almost a quarter of a billion dollars to date, Marilyn Carson's real estate career began in 1997 as the first agent to join Beth Ferester's new mentor program launched at Ferester & Company in Houston, Texas. Learning from the best, Marilyn quickly went on to receive numerous awards and accolades including the Top 100 Realtors in Houston, top listing agent in Houston's major master planned community, Gleannloch Farms, as well as the Greater Houston Builder's Association Realtor of the Year. In 2014, Marilyn and her husband Clay were relocated to NW Florida's Hwy. 30A, where Marilyn continued her real estate career with Rosemary Beach Realty and later Corcoran Reverie. While living there full time, Marilyn sold over 100 million in luxury real estate and investment properties and has retained her Florida license and is still highly active in 30A real estate to date. In 2019, Marilyn's growing family called her back home to the Houston area where she has reunited with her longtime friend and mentor Beth Ferester. In 2020 her first full year back in The Woodlands, Marilyn was among the top 3 agents at the company and in 2021 she rose to the companies top producing agent. In January of 2022 Beth Ferester & Company became an affiliate member of The Corcoran Group becoming Corcoran Ferester Realty.
Marilyn and her husband reside in Creekside Park in The Woodlands, TX. Marilyn has two fantastic children and through all of her success is most proud to be GiGi to her grandsons Colin and Liam. Marilyn graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas before attending The University of Texas and later graduating from the University of Houston with a BA in Advertising where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity.
