Before switching to a career in residential real estate sales, she spent more than 25 years working in sales with major Fortune 500 companies that included Proctor and Gamble, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Clairol and Faberge. But in 1992, she began investing in real estate properties and the agents with whom she worked would repeatedly ask why she wasn't a Realtor each suggesting that she'd make an excellent one. Bethany works as a team with her husband, Joe, specializing primarily in waterfront, golf course and horse properties in the Lake Conroe area, although the scope of their business continues to grow. She is active in the April Sound Ladies Association, April Sound Tennis Association, Joe is president of the Men's Golf Association in April Sound and both stay in close contact with the April Sound HOA.
When not showing and selling real estate, Bethany and Joe dote on their blended families, which include three sons, one daughter . Her oldest son works in the DC area in sales and her youngest will graduated this with a mechanical engineering degree. Bethany, who grew up showing Tennessee Walking Horses with her father who was a trainer, takes great joy in attending horse shows with former competitors and teammates.
