Send emailAfter graduating with a degree in Human Development from the University of Kansas, Jenny came to Houston to launch Houston Achievement Place, a residential treatment facility for children and families with special needs. Taking the same love for helping others, she began a new career in 1994 as a sales professional with two different national homebuilders. Working with developers, architects, designers, and construction, she helped complete seventeen Woodlands communities. Jenny was consistently honored over the years as a multi-million- dollar producer by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Houston Area. In 2007, selling over 21.7 million in homes, Jenny was nominated for the prestigious PRISM award for the second time in her career. In 2008 Jenny left new home sales to join Tory as a Realtor and, combining strengths and passion for making a difference for families, together they created The Hearn Team. As a Certified Home Marketing Specialist, Jenny found it extremely rewarding helping past clients and new clients will all their real estate needs. Brenda Olson and her family have been grateful to call The Woodlands, Texas home since 2014. Due to numerous personal military and corporate relocations she is very aware of the challenges that come with families transitioning nationally and internationally. These experiences enable Brenda to look at her profession as an opportunity to serve her clients and understand their needs during the transition, while also assisting them in finding the right balance, so they can make the best educated choices for their real estate needs.
Prior to her career as a Realtor, Brenda served in the U.S. Army as a Communications (Signal) Officer. She earned an ROTC Scholarship in college and was a Distinguished Military Graduate. The scholarship enabled her to serve her country and instilled in her a passion to give back. She also learned the value of humility, service, honor, and integrity.
Brenda gives back to her community as an Adjunct Math Professor at Lone Star College. She is also very involved with multiple charities including the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, the VCFS Education Foundation and the Montgomery County Women's Shelter. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund provides scholarships to Veterans and family members, particularly children of our nation's fallen and disabled soldiers. The VCFS (Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome) Educational Foundation educates people and individuals with VCFS/22.q.11 Syndrome about the genetic disorder. Brenda's volunteer efforts keep her engaged with the community and she donates a portion of her real estate commissions to these charities.
