Shawn is a native Houstonian who loves everything about her city! She graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with Honors and has a background in social work, education, and being a business owner. She has a vast array of experience and knowledge that has made her into who she is today.

She takes pride in perfecting the craft of real estate and building lifelong relationships with her clients. Shawn's goal is to offer her clients a Top Notch Experience through not only every real estate transaction, but also through every interaction with her!

I attended Texas A&M University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in English. I then received a Master of Education degree from Lamar University. I began my career as a local high school English eacher before transitioning to a school librarian and then real estate agent. As an educator for over 20 years, I am very knowledgeable about local schools and the surrounding school districts. Moving and selling two of my own houses within a six-month period inspired my passion for real estate. This passion, coupled with my knowledge, hard-working spirit, attention to detail, and organizational skills has allowed me to serve The Woodlands residents in the home buying/selling process. I take great pride in being a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker United and providing exceptional service to all my clients. When not helping home buyers/sellers, I spend time with my husband, daughter, and two chihuahuas. My family enjoys traveling and especially loves cruising! I also volunteer with my daughter in The Woodlands community through National Charity League.

Having spent a significant period of time as a successful detail-oriented executive assistant, I made the transition to licensed Realtor in 2005 in Lansing, Michigan where I served both buyers and sellers, acted as property management for several multi-unit apartment complexes and privately owned properties, and assisted the broker/builder in the various tasks associated with bringing "new builds' to market. After relocating to Texas, I remained on the periphery of the industry as an unlicensed assistant in the field while also working in the educational system as I focused with my husband on raising a family. With our children grown, I am getting back into the game and am now able to devote myself fully to the needs and desires of my clients. I bring my considerable experience and attention to detail to bear on the task of ensuring my clients receive the quality, luxury experience they deserve in the pursuit of their real estate dreams.
