Becky Shannonhouse started her career in real estate in 2000 working for The Woodlands Development Company. Working for a development company, Becky worked with realtors daily. Her main responsibilities were to develop incentive programs, give orientations to new realtors, coordinate events and provide marketing materials for the local area realtors. During her time with The Woodlands Development Company, The Woodlands was ranked the number one master-planned community in the state of Texas. There were many families and realtors moving to this area, and, at times, Becky was one of the first people they would meet when they arrived here. Then, in the spring of 2012, she decided to move to the real estate side of the business and has since worked for a couple of brokerages in The Woodlands area. Becky spent three years working as the Director of Business and Agent Development for RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring managing the office and recruiting new agents to join the RE/MAX team. In 2011, that office generated more than 1,300 transactions, resulting in 400M in sales. In 2017, Becky wanted the experience of working for the title side of the transaction, and so she went to work for Stewart Title in The Woodlands. Although she loved being a Director of Business Development & Marketing and planning Realtor events and CE classes, after 4 years, Becky decided her heart is really in real estate, and she formally retired, but is now working as a Realtor with Beth Ferester & Company.
