Originally from China, Xiuyan has been a resident of The Woodlands since 2008 and has developed a great affinity for the area and all that it has to offer! After living in the United States for 15 years, she has resided in multiple cities and communities across the country, but has yet to experience the same connection that she has with The Woodlands area. She particularly appreciates the community’s natural environment, its amenities and conveniences, school, weather, and the relatively low living costs. As a real estate agent, she aspires to introduce buyers to a community where they will feel this same connection and appreciation.
Prior to real estate, Xiuyan had been quite successful academically. She earned her BE and PhD degrees in prestigious chemical engineering programs offered by Tsinghua University in China and the University of Minnesota, respectively. After having children, however, Xiuyan decided to stay at home to raise them for the last eight years. With a desire to get back to work while still raising her children, Xiuyan opted to pursue a career in real estate due to its flexible hours and minimal travel.
