Galveston is a very special place to me . Many generations of family born and raised BOI's . Businesses made up of family and friends our local friendly small town charm definitely is one that inspires me to help bring new generations to a place to call home .Our kids are the future where we live and who we know to grow up with is key to build friendships and life long memories .
Oueteka Estelle Marshall, born in 1983, began her journey in the world of real estate in a unique way. She was adopted by the Bells in 1990, and little did she know that her life would be forever intertwined with the world of property. Her adoptive parents, both Real Estate Brokers, provided her with an early exposure to the intricacies of the real estate market. Becoming the office secretary at 13, taught her responsibilities of all parts of real estate at a young age. Soon all 7 of her siblings had their real estate license. At one point the family ate, drank, and dreamt real estate as a tight knit family! She admires the understanding to be organized, 100% of the time, and thorough. Lessons that she was taught along the way that gave her a jumpstart from other realtors once she realized Real Estate is the only career that enchants her. From 2007 to 2018, Oueteka Estelle Marshall embarked on a different adventure, traveling the road of life alongside her husband. Her husband was a welder then a quality control super with Tarsco and met many astounding people along the way. However, her passion for real estate never waned. Upon returning from their journey, she dove headfirst into the world of real estate, making it her full-time pursuit. In the midst of the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Oueteka Estelle Marshall earned her real estate license in 2020. It all began back in May 1989, when I embarked on my journey as a leasing agent in Galveston, aiming to support my college education. It was during those early days that I honed my skills in the art of persuasion, earning the nickname of being able to "sell a tent on the beach," as one of my clients fondly put it. Rapidly ascending the ranks, by the age of 21, I found myself managing a small community on the south side of Houston. It was in this role that I discovered my true calling. The fulfillment of assisting individuals in finding their place to call home resonated deeply with me, and it became evident that real estate was more than just a jobit was my career path. In 1997, I obtained my real estate license and transitioned into selling homes with Etheredge Real Estate in Texas City. Under the guidance of Bill Etheredge, a mentor and exemplary broker, I flourished. Bill instilled in me not only a love for commercial real estate but also emphasized the importance of fundamental principles such as honesty, consistency, and hard work. Despite the evolution of the industry over the years, these timeless values remain the cornerstone of my approach to real estate. While my journey led me back to property management for a brief period, my heart has always been in helping individuals navigate the process of purchasing their dream homes.
