I would love to say that from and early age I was selling "lincoln log" cabins to the neighborhood kids, but honestly I always thought I would grow up to be a EMT. After almost passing out trying to stick my first person, I realized that profession probably wasn't for me. Since then I have been a film and music video producer, licensed minister, notary public, project/program manager, run half billion dollar budgets, and managed more people than I can remember. After all of that, I realized that two things reigned supreme: I love people and I want to help with their challenges. One of life's biggest decisions (outside of who you settle down with) is where you settle down. Often times the largest purchase you will ever make is your home. What better way to serve others than to help guide them through the intricacies of this life changing journey. So real estate became my career while people remain my passion. Jamie Kastens has lived in the Houston area most of her life. She has a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. She then worked as a Tax Accountant for more than a decade in the oil and gas industry. In 2004, she obtained her Texas Real Estate License and has been practicing ever since.

Her vast experience in real estate includes residential sales, commercial sales, and investment properties. With nearly 20 years of real estate industry experience, Jamie knows the local market very well. Her extensive experience and desire to help others find their dream home or commercial location is what she does best. She is also bilingual so she can help other families with diverse backgrounds.

Ms. Kastens is also heavily involved in her community. She serves on the MUD board, and is Vice President of the HOA of the Aliana Master Planned Community. Jamie also fosters animals and volunteers with various fundraisers that benefit schools in Fort Bend ISD. She and her husband have two children and live in Fort Bend County.
