Alice's perseverance and determination is illustrated in her life journey. With twelve brothers and sisters, Alice is the only one of her siblings to graduate from college. She graduated from Alcorn State University, in Lorman Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Alice and her family eventually made their way to Houston, Texas in 1982, where she went on to attend the Real Estate Training Institute. After completing agent requirements in 1984, Alice furthered her training and received her Broker’s license in 1986. This was her ticket to self-employment and empowerment.

Her energetic personality, radiant beauty, and her contagious smile were created to excite, and encourage others. Alice is the wife of Michael Harness, a successful businessman, and the mother of three young men, Christopher, Sherman and Alex. While she only has three biological children, Alice is a mother to many.

Always true to her southern roots, Alice has maintained a love for her family, friends, and her heritage as she has tackled many projects and charities. Alice is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and an active member of Alcorn State University’s Alumni Association and has been honored for her contributions and time in her community. She is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas, Texas Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors and MLS.
