About Springwoods Village Master-Planned Community
Springwoods Village is a master planned, mixed-use community located south of The Woodlands and 20 miles north of downtown. It's a new model of sustainable living for the Houston region, preserving natural ecosystems, building energy smart homes, and reducing dependence on the car by providing a walkable mix of retail, dining, offices, and public amenities. The community offers a variety of homes including luxury rentals, urban-style compact housing and single-family. It will serve up to 50,000 workers and residents with CityPlace, its 60-acre urban district, offering luxury residential, restaurants, retail, workplaces, lodging, parks and gathering spaces.
33 miles of trails plus recreation facilities including a kayak and canoe launch and natural ecosystems in the Spring Creek Greenway will be accessible to the Springwoods Village community and its visitors. Including the 150-acre Springwoods Village Nature Preserve, there will be over 290 acres of parks. Spring Grove Park will include a dog park and walking trails. CityPlace Park, in the urban hub, CityPlace, will have recreational amenities such as an outdoor amphitheater and preserved forest habitat. The community is located 20 miles north of downtown, at the nexus of I-45, the Grand Parkway and the Hardy Toll Road.
