I discovered my passion for real estate four years ago amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a proud Texas A&M University graduate in 2019, my career initially flourished in the vibrant world of event planning. My journey took an unexpected turn when the pandemic swept across the globe. Transitioning from the dynamic world of event planning to real estate, I found myself joining forces with my mother, Tamela Waltz, and my grandmother, Sandy Laine, forming a real estate dynasty spanning generations. Working alongside Tamela, a seasoned expert with over 30 years of experience in the industry, imparted invaluable wisdom. Rachel grew up showing horses and cattle which lead her to pursue an Animal Science degree at Texas A&M. While at A&M, she competed on the National Champion Ranch Horse Team. After graduating, Rachel's career started in livestock and horse show management for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and then later for Rodeo Austin. Rachel runs her family's Hereford cattle operation in Fayette and Lavaca counties and is proud to call Schulenburg home. She is a product of Conroe Independent School District, and has owned homes in Conroe, Spring, and Houston's Inner Loop. She has also served in the Conroe Service League, and on the Parent's Association board of her daughter's school.

Misti has established herself as a permanent resident of the area. She and her husband, Shane, and their daughter, Lilly, have determined that there is nowhere else they would rather live. Her goal is to help others find the home of their own dreams, and set down their roots here as well.
