I've spent a good portion of my life moving. One city to another, one state to another, one country to another (specifically the U.S. and Italy). My father was in the military so we had the privilege of seeing the world, one house at a time. Searching for a new home was my absolute favorite thing to do - the house hunting with our Realtor, picking my room, looking for secret passageways. These experiences cultivated my love for real estate and my desire to always help people feel "at home."
Fast forward through 10 cities, 10 homes, a B.A in Mass Communications with a minor in Spanish & Theatre, and several event planning and sales jobs later, to the great state of Texas where I live with my son Austin. It's here that I began my career as a Realtor with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. I then stepped out on my own and joined forces with one of Houston's top Commercial Real Estate power players, Brenda Pennington, to create Pennington Reid Residential. It is my passion to share my knowledge of the business and help everyone through the entire home buying/selling journey. Splitting his youth and formative years between the United States and Mexico, Aaron speaks fluent English and Spanish and knows the ins and outs of the real estate industry and market in both countries. He received a science degree in California in 1995 and went on to become the partner and general manager of a reputable automotive shop. Meanwhile, Aaron began focusing his interests on creating a real estate agency to help foreigners buy homes in Mexico. With the goal of providing personalized and prompt service where it was previously unavailable, Aaron started Coco Realty in 2005, a Real Estate Company based in the remote and enchanting seaside town of Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Specializing in vacation rentals, property sales and the creation of the necessary bank trusts for foreign owners and investors, he has been commended by peers and online reviewers for being honest, knowledgeable, efficient, and just an all around nice guy. He strives to offer exceptional service based on his clients’ precise needs. To be sure, Aaron helped a British client and now close friend build his dream beach house from what began as a rough sketch on a paper napkin, facilitating all of the necessary elements and guiding him through the entire legal process.
