Since 1982 I have been involved in the real estate business. I started in Ypsilanti, Michigan and continued my career when my family moved to Houston. I have worked in many aspects of the real estate industry and have learned from the best. Cheryl Renee Hugh has been around the real estate industry for over 20 years. Her parents were investors and her mother was a mortgage broker and currently is a Realtor in Louisiana. Cheryl has seen the rewards of satisfied clients over the years and believes with her desire and willingness to assist others; she will be able to achieve much success as a real estate agent. Glenda J. Hampton is a passionate real estate Broker Associate with a deep desire to strengthen and serve the community. She has a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Speech Communications from Sam Houston State University. After spending 14 years in the Mortgage Banking Industry, Glenda capitalized on her skills and turned her focus to selling real estate for the last 14 years. Glenda currently is leading a successful team, coaching and empowering real estate professionals to grow sustainable businesses through implementing systems, models and tools.

I come to JLA Realty with a B.S in Material Science Engineering and many years of experience in business management. Prior to beginning my career in real estate, I worked in the oil and gas industry as a Corrosion Analyst and Team Lead, where I managed a team of 5. I also worked as a Human Resource Software Analyst. My time working in the oil and gas industry allowed me to hone excellent skills in understanding technology, organization, and communication. I possess the listening and organization skills necessary to work effectively with buyers and sellers and offer the best possible customer service. I am also bilingual, which allows me to better serve the Hispanic community in the greater Houston area.

We had two children when we decided to adopt another child - giving me 3 mommy degrees (a.k.a children) and 2 legal degrees. When the kids were old enough I re-entered the job market as a substitute teacher. When we relocated from Colorado to Houston in 2018 I decided to pursue a career in real estate .

Rachel grew up showing horses and cattle which lead her to pursue an Animal Science degree at Texas A&M. While at A&M, she competed on the National Champion Ranch Horse Team. After graduating, Rachel's career started in livestock and horse show management for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and then later for Rodeo Austin. Rachel runs her family's Hereford cattle operation in Fayette and Lavaca counties and is proud to call Schulenburg home. She believes there is more to real estate than the next transaction; it is the start of a new chapter for the client.
