ISN'T IT GREAT TO GET UP EVERY MORNING AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE? In a previous life, I was passionate about music production. I had some success and got some songs played on the radio, but unless you hit it really big there's no money in it. With a full-time job, family to support, and a wife who was advocating that I let go of my dream. Something had to give.
Fortunately, I just so happen to turn on the television one early April morning and I saw this real estate investing infomercial. Now I don't know if it was the lack of sleep or my desperation? But something about that real estate investing infomercial really resonated with me so much that I decided to attend the next seminar and I was swept up in everything and shortly thereafter as I got started with investment real estate.
Fast-forward a couple of years; I now own 8 investment properties. All of a sudden 2008 hit and I lost all of my investment properties and I lost my primary residence.
After that, I made a vow to never let foreclosure happen to anybody else if I could help it! So I got my residential real estate brokers license and then it hit me. I wasn't passionate about music because of the music aspect. I loved the music production because I was able to orchestrate all the moving pieces successfully. I was able to put business deals together.
But what I was most passionate about was being in the production studio with someone who's a little nervous; and by coaching, prodding, encouraging, leading, and anticipating, I helped them find their voice. What's interesting is that I'm able to take those same passionate skills that made me good as a music producer, and transfer that to my residential real estate clients.
That's what I do all day every day with respect to residential real estate. I help my buyers and sellers find their voice with respect to buying or selling a home. I help them realize that there is
