Emily Kahanek Shaw has lived in the Round Top and La Grange area her entire life. She is a native of Fayette County; her family roots go back generations. After college Emily married her high school sweetheart, Casey and they have 4 children. As a team, Casey and Emily operate CE Cattle Co. and their investment properties. Round Top Real Estate welcomed Sherry Lynn Krenek to their team in 2018. She brings a unique set of qualities. Having grown up in Colorado County, her family made their living off the land in rice farming and cattle ranching. Sherry first entered the real estate banking industry in the mid '80s where she worked in the Real Estate Lending Department and assisted in the loan application process. She later became a real estate agent and worked for a boutique firm in Houston.

Her love for homes continued to grow and she soon found herself owning her own interior decorating business. Not only can she help you find the perfect property but perhaps she could assist in future renovations.

In 2005, Sherry broadened her horizon by learning more about the land, not only the surface but one's investment below the surface. She has extensive experience in oil and gas title research, mapping, leasing and curating title and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL).

Sherry is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) and the Texas Land Brokers Network (TLBN). In addition, she is a lifetime committeeman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has served on the Breeders Greeters and International Committee for over two decades.

Bryan Roberts chose a career in real estate for the people. Sociable, fun and 'as honest as the day is long,' he uses his common sense to help his clients through a smooth transaction. A Dallas-born native Texan, Bryan has lived on acreage in LaGrange since 1993. In addition to working as a loan officer, Bryan is an experienced real estate investor and has been buying and selling real estate for over a decade. Helen's real estate roots run deep.Her family has been in real estate development for over fifty years. She has always taken an active part in the business. Helen got her license in 1976 and her first experience was with a Houston home-builder. When her husband's company transferred him to Corpus Christi she joined a commercial company. When they returned to Houston she joined John Daugherty Realtors as the Farm and Ranch manager. That gave Helen and her husband Fred the excuse to become full time residents of Washington County. They moved to their family farm in Chappell Hill in 1992 and have been an active part of that community. When Daugherty closed his Farm and Ranch division Helen commuted to Houston for several years to go back into commercial real estate. She changed directions when the opportunity presented itself and joined a local green house grower in Brenham and was in management for several years… She decided to somewhat retire and just handle family business until Cathy Cole encouraged her to join Heritage Texas Country Properties. Helen says you just cannot get real estate out of your blood. Helen and Fred have been married for over fifty years and he is retired from oil and gas exploration. They have two grown sons,a wonderful daughter-in-law and two terrific grandchildren.

A lifelong equestrian, Ashley is a lover of all things that come with life in the country! Since her move to Fayette County in 2002, she's accumulated 4 horses, 5 dogs and too many crossbred cows, chickens and Guinea to count! Her affectionate Jack Russell terriers bring her happiness, as do the opportunities she has to compete, in equestrian sports. Ashley understands the meaning of commitment and dedication, exemplified not only in the two riding styles she has mastered (both English and Western), but equally in the level of service she gives to each client. Ashley believes finding Round Top Real Estate was all part of God's plan which is why ethics and honesty are, in her words, "a necessary component of every day." "It's impossible to be in the country and be in a bad mood at the same time!" After leaving a 40-year career in banking in Houston, Lila joined Round Top Real Estate in late 2011. Lila is a native Houstonian and a graduate of the University of Houston. She has strong lifelong ties to the Round Top area and loves and appreciates all Round Top has to offer. Lila's great grandparents emigrated from Germany and settled in northern Fayette County. Her parents and grandparents were born and lived in the Round Top area. She is proud to now own a part of her grandparent's farm. Lila's husband, Barton, was born in Burton and grew up in the La Bahia community. They have one son, Phillip Brau Garlin, a graduate of the University of Kansas, who lives and works in Houston. Since Barton's retirement from Chevron Corporation, they have ranched on the family properties. The La Bahia property has been continuously owned by the family and kept in agricultural operation since the early 1870s, gaining it the proud recognition as a State of Texas Family Land Heritage property — a "Century Farm." Lila's history of the area and her love for this part of Texas gives her a unique perspective to share with her clients. Lila enjoys her association with several local organizations — The Sons of Hermann Round Top Lodge #151, the Round Top DYD Club, the Carmine Lions Club, the Republican Women of Fayette County, the La Bahia Turn Verein, the Navidad Valley Cattle Women, the Carmine Chamber of Commerce and the Walhalla Homemakers Club.
