Want to Buy Home: For that as All commenter Suggested to provide more Information (Information likes Preferred location, your budget (or price range) , size, including any other items you would prefer to have in you new home, would like to suggest same.

From your question it sounds like you are renting an old home and the landlord is not planning on selling it soon, so you want to move. What you didn't include is if you wanted to purchase a home now (since you can't purchase the one you are living in from your landlord ) or, if you want to find another rental. Another important piece of information needed would be what area of Houston do you want to live in? Houston is over 600 sq miles big! You will be best served by a Realtor who works primarily in the area you want to live. An area specialist will be a valuable resource to you. Also, your budget price range would be helpful to know.
