HAR does not “approve” home inspectors. You will find licensed Texas inspectors on TREC web site. You can find licensed/qualified Texas inspectors at www.tpreia.com.
Great question; especially when you're searching for a reliable source for such an integral professional involved in our client's transaction! There is a list and an advertisement page for service professionals on har.com. While HAR DOES have these lists of real estate professionals, please keep in mind that they are not "HAR approved" or "HAR recommended" per say. They are simply a list of professionals who's information was added into HAR's system or paid for to be advertised there. The affiliate list is a large directory, and the service directory is a list of some inspectors who paid to advertise. I have included a link to both - click the inspectors tab for inspectors lol. I personally have dealt with Art Marquez of AM Solutions multiple times over the past 5 years - his site is also included.

Home Inspectors are licensed through Texas Real Estate Commission (just like Realtors), so please be sure to hire an inspector who is licensed. You can find list of home inspectors on HAR though: https://www.har.com/service_providers/inspectors/INSP You can also check www.ashi.org for additional information. ASHI is a national trade association for home inspectors with very stringent requirements as well as annual requirements for continuing education. The site also offers information for the public. Make sure you hire an inspector you can trust, who is experienced, competent and has high integrity. If you'd like few referrals, I can help. Thank you,
Hi Lindy, Good Question! I believe the best way to find an inspector is the same as the best way to find a Realtor - a referral. Ask your collegues or an experienced Realtor in your area. The listing agent can be a good resource also. I asked a listing agent and she was nice enough to send me her entire list of vendors she had come to know and appreciate. It's my opinion that every person your client(s) come in contact with during the transaction adds to their experience, and the referral you may or may not get from them in the future. My favorite is Justin Cegielski with Apex Inspection Service, Inc., justin@inspectwithapex.net, 832-489-6503.
Go to your dashboard and put the word inspectors in search bar and it will take you to a list. I did it from my phone. Good luck. You can call me if you still can’t find it. I used to get them in the mail so I have one from a year or two ago. 303-815-9455
HAR and other real estate web portals will not offer an inspector list. You can visit TREC’s website to see those licensed in Houston.
A seasoned Realtor will likely have a list of good licensed home inspectors they have used in the past that they can provide. Realtors should not select the inspector for their client.

Hi, HAR publishes a list but these resources aren't "affiliates" or recommended by HAR. As someone already noted, TREC regulates inspectors - Here is the HAR link - https://www.har.com/service_providers/inspectors/INSP
They dont have a list of affiliate members that I am aware of. If your looking for a great inspection company you can reach out to my husband. He has a great team and they care about doing a great job for you and your clients.
There is no list of HAR approved home inspectors. Inspectors are licensed by the state. HAR does not make recommendatuons. You might consult the Houston Area Real Estate Inspectors Association for a list. ????
