Which home warranty company do you prefer, and why?

Home warranty can be a crucial part of homeownership and it is definitely imperative to select a reliable company and plan to utilize in case it is ever necessary to use! Many of my clients have found the most success with One Guard Home Warranty and 2-10 Home Warranty! It is also VERY helpful to have a direct source representative to reach out to in case the warranty policy holder is unhappy with the outcome of an issue presented to the warranty company! A Realtor can up a search for you so you get daily updates on homes that meet your energy efficiency criteria. You are notified if something new is listed, or if there is a price or status change. We are able to use fields in the "Green/Energy Certifications" category, which includes: Energy Star Qualified Home, Enironments for Living, HERS, LEED for Homes (USGBC), National Green Building Certification (NAHB), Other Energy Report, and Other Green Certifications. There is also a category called "Energy Features" that has choices related to N/S exposure, insulation, SEER ratings, and more. It's also smart to select an agent who has NAR's Green designation. You can search for Realtors on HAR.com by their designations. Green agents have more expertise, by choice.
