Let me tell you how Kelly goes above and beyond for her buyers. My daughter moved to The Woodlands area. Before moving, she looked at homes with a good commute to her new job and decided on a subdivision and house plan. All Kelly needed to do for her commission was go with us to the builder. But Kelly suggested a different house in a different subdivision. We had dismissed that subdivision as too expensive, but Kelly found a house that was the right size and right number of bedrooms and baths and was in my daughter's price range. Granted there are always trade offs. The kitchen placement wasn't where my daughter wanted and the cabinets were not the color she wanted....BUT it was ready to move in instead of a 6 month build. My daughter decided that she would be happy with the house and liked the quick move in. There were no fans in the living room and back porch, but she could have those installed after moving in. I suggested that she ask for the builder to add them, thinking that they might agree to install one fan. Kelly got them to install the fans plus lower the sell price! There are always some problems that need fixing...doors not closing right, burnt out light bulbs, door stop placement, etc. Kelly walked around the house with my daughter pointing out problems to the builder and then went back later with my daughter to make sure everything was fixed before closing. Kelly listened to my daughter, actually took notes, represented us in negotiations with the builder, and my daughter ended up getting a better house in a better subdivision. I don't know anything Kelly could have done better, and she is pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Kelly Derouen." Read more
