Welcome to the Jennifer Christmas WorkShop. Yes, you read that right my last name IS Christmas and the WorkShop is where I WORK and SHOP to make your home buying/selling dreams come true.

My experience hasn't always been in real estate. However, with a lengthy customer service background as well as managing a busy family it has allowed me to hone my skills. Multi-tasking, communication, negotiating, being the calm in the storm are some of my strong suits but I am most proud of the relationships I build.

I wasn't born in Texas (nor the North Pole) but as the adage goes, I got here as fast as I could. After marrying a United States Marine, we moved our family to the Montgomery County area in 1997 and didn't look back. God bless Texas!

When I am not busy searching for the perfect property, showing homes or holding open houses I enjoy time with my family, taking my dogs on walks and riding horses. So, whether you are looking for a home for yourself or one that can accommodate all your four- legged companions I can help!

Cristen previously worked in sales for Clear Channel communications and Learfield Sports for 15 years. She is a hometown Woodlands girl and grew up in the Woodlands Community where she and her family still reside. She attended McCullough High school and went on to attend Texas A&M University with a degree in communications. Great communication skills are very important for both you the buyer/tenant, seller/landlord. After 47 years of real estate practice, I have learned to face the bold faced truth, and tell those involved what has been discovered.. I do not expect to cover it up and think it will go away. It will only grow into a monster. If we find termites in the house, address the problem with the owner immediately. If there is structural damage, go over the details with the owner and the inspector. If they can not qualify for the home they fell in love with tell them. If they need to sell their house in order to buy that dream listing you have, tell them. Why put the other side through your in- ability to tell the truth? Tell it like it is. It is what it is. Right or wrong. good or bad.

Active Real Estate began in its infancy in a little town called Conroe, TX. When the real estate market took its plunge in the 80's, Active Real Estate formed Active Apartment Locators, Inc. Apartment locating flourished during these hard times. In this field we learned from the Big Boys how to run Property Management. We learned the correct way to handle tenants, how to keep in tune with the rental market, fair housing and rent collections. After 12 good years we moved out of the city to a place in the country. We began to swing back into listing and selling farm & ranch, residential, commercial and lots. Later on the market again took a downswing and having seen this delima before, we swung back into the rental business and property management. We do list individual properties, which with our well funded advertising program they sell or lease properties fast. We have found if a property stays on the market with our company more than 90 days there is something wrong. It is time to meet with the owner and do a re-evaluation. Times have been good to Active Real Estate & Property Management. We love and care for our business and those who come to us for counseling about their real estate. We enjoy helping buyers find their dreams and keeping good homes for our tenants is a plus.
