I married the love of my life in September of 2007, and we have 4 amazing kids who make life fun and entertaining. I am thankful for my wife and kids more than they will ever know. I love meeting new people and getting to know their story. If you know me long enough I may even cook for you and possibly make you laugh a bit. I'm a big, big, big Red Raider fan and been a season ticket holder and supporter for several years now. Wreck'em Tech! I have been in sales the last 11 years and have traveled between Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Kansas meeting some fascinating people from all over the country. I've hung my hat on working hard to take care of my customers and clients throughout my career and look forward to taking care of you. A large part of my professional work has been in the area of Education. Although not a native to West Texas, I made Lubbock my home in 1989, when I moved here to attend Texas Tech University. I was employed in the Public Relations department at Covenant Health System as a Coordinator who collaborated with non-profit agencies to assist with their efforts in fundraising. As a community liaison for Covenant I was involved in the implementation of teaching English as a Second Language and GED classes to parents of the students enrolled at Harwell Elementary. I also researched, developed and worked on fundraising with non-profit agencies in our community. In 2004 I served as a Lead-Teacher to develop and implement classroom lessons to facilitate support groups and training in life skills, refusal skills, coping skills, team building, adolescent issues, media literacy, drug education and violence prevention. I provided support to the director, for at-risk students and was also involved in research and development of curricula and resources. I am certified as a Spanish bilingual generalist, which has proven to be an invaluable skill that allowed me to provide bilingual parenting classes and conduct presentations to the Hispanic population in our community. Most recently, I served as a Tech Teach Site Coordinator and Instructor in the Teacher Education program at Texas Tech University. Having lived in Lubbock for nearly 30 years, I am proud to say that I consider Lubbock to be my hometown and I am excited about helping you with your new hometown. Come see what our city has to offer.
