A large part of my professional work has been in the area of Education. Although not a native to West Texas, I made Lubbock my home in 1989, when I moved here to attend Texas Tech University. I was employed in the Public Relations department at Covenant Health System as a Coordinator who collaborated with non-profit agencies to assist with their efforts in fundraising. As a community liaison for Covenant I was involved in the implementation of teaching English as a Second Language and GED classes to parents of the students enrolled at Harwell Elementary. I also researched, developed and worked on fundraising with non-profit agencies in our community. In 2004 I served as a Lead-Teacher to develop and implement classroom lessons to facilitate support groups and training in life skills, refusal skills, coping skills, team building, adolescent issues, media literacy, drug education and violence prevention. I provided support to the director, for at-risk students and was also involved in research and development of curricula and resources. I am certified as a Spanish bilingual generalist, which has proven to be an invaluable skill that allowed me to provide bilingual parenting classes and conduct presentations to the Hispanic population in our community. Most recently, I served as a Tech Teach Site Coordinator and Instructor in the Teacher Education program at Texas Tech University. Having lived in Lubbock for nearly 30 years, I am proud to say that I consider Lubbock to be my hometown and I am excited about helping you with your new hometown. When the company Tracy worked for went private and cashed out all of his stock options. He was trying to decide between buying a motorcycle and investing in a rent house. Luckily, he found an inexpensive motorcycle AND a well-priced, fixer-upper rent house. A few years later, he sold the motorcycle but continued investing in real estate.

With over 22 years in residential real estate as a landlord and REALTOR®, Tracy loves helping people find their first or forever home, or any home in between. And because of his experience as a landlord, he strives to help other people take the plunge into the rewarding world of residential real estate investing. He calls himself a part-time landlord and has helped dozens of other people become part-time landlords, too.

I bought my first duplex in 2001, said Tracy. The only thing I wish I'd done differently would be to have purchased my first rental property sooner.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, he spent 30 years in Information Technology working in the law enforcement, medical, and agricultural sectors. He led and managed highly complex and security-focused projects. Because of this, he brings a unique perspective to project management and security to your real estate transactions.

A native Texan, Tracy moved to Lubbock in 1986 to attend Texas Tech University. He fell in love with the city and made Lubbock his home. He participates in several non-profit and civic organizations and enjoys spending time with his children who have grown up and made Lubbock their home, too.
