I started my real estate career in 2001 and I absolutely love it! In 2012 I earned my broker license and opened Amy Tapp Realty, a local real estate company. I have a passion for helping people find their dream home! It is very rewarding for me to help a first time home buyer, a parent buying a home for their college student, a family busting at the seams needing more space, an investor, an empty nester, a farmer needing to sell or buy, a business owner needing to buy or sell space, or builders! When the company Tracy worked for went private and cashed out all of his stock options. He was trying to decide between buying a motorcycle and investing in a rent house. Luckily, he found an inexpensive motorcycle AND a well-priced, fixer-upper rent house. A few years later, he sold the motorcycle but continued investing in real estate.

With over 22 years in residential real estate as a landlord and REALTOR®, Tracy loves helping people find their first or forever home, or any home in between. And because of his experience as a landlord, he strives to help other people take the plunge into the rewarding world of residential real estate investing. He calls himself a part-time landlord and has helped dozens of other people become part-time landlords, too.

I bought my first duplex in 2001, said Tracy. The only thing I wish I'd done differently would be to have purchased my first rental property sooner.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, he spent 30 years in Information Technology working in the law enforcement, medical, and agricultural sectors. He led and managed highly complex and security-focused projects. Because of this, he brings a unique perspective to project management and security to your real estate transactions.

A native Texan, Tracy moved to Lubbock in 1986 to attend Texas Tech University. He fell in love with the city and made Lubbock his home. He participates in several non-profit and civic organizations and enjoys spending time with his children who have grown up and made Lubbock their home, too.

Jennifer is a Lubbock native and graduate of Frenship High School. She is a new agent in Lubbock and ready to get started. She is very familiar with West Texas and has served the community in many ways. She is not afraid to advocate for her clients needs and wants. Before becoming a Real Estate Sales Agent, Jennifer worked for a local fire & water restoration company for 15 years and worked directly with home owners, insurance agents, adjusters and contractors. Jennifer has also spent much of her time volunteering and raising money for various local charitable organizations including B.U.D.s. (Better Understanding of Down syndrome) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock. She is a member of the Lubbock Monterey AMBUCS and also served on the board. She was the first associate member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Lubbock to be named President, and served on the board for many years. Jennifer and her husband John together have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. They spend their free time with friends and family.
