I had questions on courses that I am required to take for free to maintain my status with HAR and my license with Trec? I wanted to know what those course are and if I have completed it already, and if I have not? Please tell me the ones I need to complete, and the courses, I can do offline that I may not have completed between NAR and HAR. Where do I see when my lisense expires?

You can check your license expiration date directly through the Texas Real Estate Commission TREC. The quickest way is to go to TREC.gov and log into your account, where all your license details are displayed. If you dont want to log in, you can also use the public search feature on the TREC website just enter your license number or name, and it will show your license status and expiration date.

Great profile pic by the way!Log into your HAR, click Members Only portal, Click Tools on the left-hand side, click Website and Blog, click Manage your Website, Click Profile, Click Edit on Photo, click Upload New Photo, choose your photo, and click Upload.

Nothing is more frustrating than to have to go back to your clients with no answers for an upcoming showing from a listing agent or to have to tell your sellers you have no response from an agent that showed the property & does not provide any feedback. It should be mandatory if a showing is scheduled!!

Deborah, I know the frustration you're facing. Back in the day, long before we had way too many licensees' this was still an issue. We would do a gift card drawing for the agents who provided feedback on our listings. While we shouldn't have to do this, bribe someone to provide feedback it worked to some degree. We did it as a service to our listing clients. Today I send an email myself, not just from the showing service, as new rules they're supposed to respond within 48 hours. Sad this is where we are today to make doing the right thing an ethics violation.
