Originally from Dallas, Susan has lived in Atlanta, Danbury, Pittsburgh, and Dubai, where she lived for 3 years with her husband and kids. Susan and her family moved to Houston in 2008. Prior to her real estate career, Susan was a flight attendant who flew domestically and internationally for 17 years. "I have experienced how international relocation affects families, both positively and negatively," she says.

The Katy area is home for Susan, her husband and their teenage son and daughter. Her volunteer commitments include volunteering at her children's schools, advancement chair for her son's Boy Scout troop, and membership chair for his choir booster club. When not working, Susan enjoys reading, exercise, tennis, and Tae Kwon Do. She and her son both earned their Tae Kwon Do black belts together in 2014.
