Hi, my name is Scott Yao. I have been living in the United States since 1987. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I am also a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, and Medical Sociology. When I was living in Indiana, I developed a passion for marketing and real estate after having multiple interactions with some of the top real estate agents in Indiana. Fascinated with the idea of becoming a REALTOR®, I registered for and completed the required real estate classes and was in the process of taking my state licensing exam when I received a job offer in Texas within the medical field. At that time, in 2018, I moved to Texas and currently live in Sugar Land, just southwest of Houston. Nevertheless, my interest in real estate never wavered, so I followed that dream and became a licensed REALTOR® in Texas.

What makes real estate so special and fascinating to me? Largely, it is because I get to have a chance to meet and interact with many people from different places and cultures, especially in our widely diverse Greater Houston area. Getting to know my clients' needs, desires, and styles when it comes to buying or selling, providing outstanding service, and earning their trust is something that I always look forward to. I love to help and assist my clients with all of their real estate endeavors, and being a key part of that process to assist them in finding a home that they love is something that I find very rewarding.

I began my Real Estate career in 1989 in Oklahoma and sold Residential homes and Rural properties for twenty years. In 2009 I became Marketing and Sales Director for Senior Living facilities. My husband and I moved to Texas in 2016 and I got my Texas Real Estate license. I use my experience, training and knowledge to help people in all stages of life. I love the thrill of helping first time buyers find their perfect starter home and developing a long term relationship with them. When their needs and wants change, I hope they consider me their personal realtor. l also love helping seniors and their families through the difficult transition of selling their family home and moving into Senior care.
