I am no stranger to the hard work that comes with value-based sales. I began my experience with a successful 38-year sales career with Coca Cola, winning the President Award for performance. In 2015 I acquired my real estate license and 4 years later won the sales lender award in Katy, Texas with Better Homes, and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. As a child in Germany, I was adopted by a military American family. I began to understand early on the value of family and the role a family's first home purchase can play in their growth and development. I recently found my 6 siblings in Germany, we made the wonderful trip to meet them. I would love to share my amazing story with you. Today, I love helping families buy their first home and put all of myself on the line in the process. Hi, my name is Scott Yao. I have been living in the United States since 1987. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, I am also a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, and Medical Sociology. When I was living in Indiana, I developed a passion for marketing and real estate after having multiple interactions with some of the top real estate agents in Indiana. Fascinated with the idea of becoming a REALTOR®, I registered for and completed the required real estate classes and was in the process of taking my state licensing exam when I received a job offer in Texas within the medical field. At that time, in 2018, I moved to Texas and currently live in Sugar Land, just southwest of Houston. Nevertheless, my interest in real estate never wavered, so I followed that dream and became a licensed REALTOR® in Texas.

What makes real estate so special and fascinating to me? Largely, it is because I get to have a chance to meet and interact with many people from different places and cultures, especially in our widely diverse Greater Houston area.
