Julie began her real estate career in 2001 and has represented clients all over the Greater Houston and surrounding areas. She considers finding the right deal for each client, much like putting a puzzle together. It is a challenge to find the piece that fits into the puzzle just right, but once it is found, it is so rewarding. Julie brings her years of experience in customer service and software sales to the real estate industry, and this helps put her customers at ease while negotiating on their behalf. Julie earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and continues to further her education in real estate by obtaining designations such as: Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) Certification, e-Pro Certification, At Home with Diversity (AHWD) Certification, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification, Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) Designation, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and is a Certified Probate Expert. In addition to working in real estate, Julie has volunteered her time working in the community. She belongs to a group that prepares and serves meals at The Ballard House, whose mission is to provide temporary housing in the community with a warm, safe environment for individuals and their families who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.

As a small town girl from Montgomery, Texas I began my adventure as a Realtor in 2004. I have worked every aspect of real estate and my career endeavors have allowed me to experience an array of needs. I truly believe that assisting someone in finding a home that will not only support their personal needs but also allow a return on their investment is one of my many purposes in life aside from living by faith and family. A San Francisco native, Gerald Hatter moved to the Houston area in 2006 marking the start of a great real estate career, in new home sales. While pursuing her career goals, Gerald earned her MBA and Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification while working in healthcare leadership, advocating for patient rights and designing processes to improve the patient experience. In my first 8 years of Real Estate, I was Top Producer listing and selling homes. The next 21 years I managed a successful Coldwell Banker United, Realtors office in Katy, Texas. As of December 31, 2016, I retired and am now a real estate assistant to Gretchen Barrilleaux, my daughter. Our philosophy is a simple one: to be here to go the extra mile for our buyers and seller.
