Being a real estate agent is akin to being an educator. In fact, my sixteen years as a middle school English teacher have served as a great foundation for the organization, communication, and relationship skills necessary to support clients whom I serve in their endeavors to buy and sell a home. As a full-time real estate professional, it is important that I continue to grow in ways that fulfill my personal and professional interests as the two often cross-over with each other. I love to indulge in reading a good novel, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, searching for home décor inspiration, and watching my high-school son play football. A respect for heritage, firmly grounded in faith, serving with integrity, valuing education and entrepreneurship. The foundation for these characteristics was firmly instilled in Lisa by her family. Her ancestors were some of the original settlers of the area west of the Brazos River in Texas. She watched and and learned the value of hard work from her grandparents, who were ambitious businessmen and women. She was taught the importance of integrity, faith and service to community by her parents, lessons she strives to pass on to her children and grandchildren. Though Lisa's Texas roots run deep, she grew up as the daughter of a career Army officer and enjoyed the culture of various American and European communities where her dad was stationed. Her marriage to Robert in 1989 brought two Army brats together. Robert was also the son of a career Army soldier, and he followed in his dad's footsteps, serving in the infantry. The military tradition continues with their daughter, who is a Captain in the US Army Reserves. Attending her parent's alma mater, Lisa graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Marketing in 1987. She completed master's studies in Health Services Administration at the University of Kansas and enjoyed a 20+ year career in health care marketing in the Kansas City area. Returning to Texas in 2013 after raising their two daughters in Kearney, Mo., Lisa started work in the real estate industry near Houston, learning all she could about investment properties from her father. She and Robert continue managing their own rental properties and recently completed restoration of a century-old farmhouse that belonged to her great-grandparents.

My background includes years of customer service experience. From my very first summer job as a lifeguard in high school to waiting tables in college, and now as a professional real estate agent, I have dealt with all different kinds of people. It is my passion to help others and that is how I knew real estate was something that I wanted to pursue. I am the daughter of two licensed Real Estate Agents, so it runs in the family. I decided to get my license and I became an assistant to one of Houstons Top Producing agents. I quickly learned the business and joined the Kendra Lee Team. We specialized in listings and won the Top Listing Team award in the company for 2015 and 2016. After Kendra Lee became the office manager, I decided to take a step back from selling to raise my son. I continued to work in the Real Estate world as an office coordinator. My many perspectives have given me a wide range of knowledge in the business. Now that my son has gotten older, I decided to go back into selling and making it my full-time career again. I can apply my skills and knowledge from my recent endeavors to flourish my own business. I am excited to jump back in and give my clients the same EXECPTIONAL service as before. With a team of experts and outstanding office coordinators, you will not be disappointed.
