My name is Jamie Smith and I am a native Texan born and raised in Houston. Receiving a BBA in General Business from the University of Houston Downtown, graduating with honors to which I became a member of Bata Gamma Sigma National Collegiate Honor Society. Married for 22 years living in different areas across Houston but spending the last 14 years in the Humble/Kingwood area. My professional experience over the last 15 years was working in the oil and gas industry for Shell Energy, Coastal Corp, and Direct Energy to which I supervised a sales support team processing contracts and providing sales/ customer support for the large commercial and industrial clients. I enjoy nature and water sports which are a couple of the great advantages living in the Humble/Kingwood area. Another major advantage the NE area also offers is easy access to downtown Houston. The growth opportunities in the Humble/Kingwood provide one of the major reasons I am excited to represent JLA Realty as your neighbor in the real estate industry.

I am a 24 year veteran of the United States Air Force who has earned Associate’s Degrees in Mental Health Services and Information Technology at Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), additionally a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Bellevue University (BU) in Nebraska. I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Houston in 2002. I graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education obtaining a Bachelor of Science in International Business. My previous professional experience, and being bilingual and multicultural, has allowed me to helpmyclients providing them with tools that make the buying and selling process smooth and enjoyable. I am a Houston area real estate agent who works with buyers and sellers. After years working in the aviation industry, building many amazing projects such as SpaceShipTwo commercial space flight program and Gulfstream G650 corporate jet, I attended San Jacinto College, working toward my Real Estate career. Initially, my time in Real Estate was short, as school and work was very draining.

After a few years finishing up school and working a few other jobs, exploring some passions, I came back to Real Estate.
