A longtime resident of the Houston area, Kim Cao has always been drawn to real estate. After starting out in the industry as an Assistant for a local Broker, she would attend college and earn her degree in Advertising with a minor in Global Business. Seeking an opportunity that complimented her entrepreneurial spirit while still giving her the flexibility to be there for her family, she decided to launch her career as a full time agent and the rest is history.
Today, Kim leads the Cao & Co Real Estate Group LLC., where she supervises an elite team to assist clients throughout Houston's Loop and West Side. There, she has cultivated a boutique workflow around values of openness, integrity and compassion for every buyer or seller.
Outside her career, Kim is tremendously active in her community, currently serving as the president of Asian American Real Estate Association. Kim also serves as a member of the Junior League of Houston and organizes many events as the program coordinator for the Vietnamese Cultural and Science Association. When she's not with clients or giving back, she can be found spending time with her dogs visiting the various parks and sites around Houston enjoying all the city has to offer.
Going forward, Kim has exciting plans for the future of her business. She moved to Houston from Belarus (Russia) at the age of four. Her parents serve as an inspiration, and their story "exemplifies all that is good about the American dream." A Texan at heart, Margarita didn't stray far from Houston, earning a Finance degree from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, where she was also a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. After five years in consulting and financial analysis, Margarita chose to pursue a career in real estate because "I enjoy the human interaction and I know that success is defined by results." She adds, "What makes this job special to me is that it's not about finding a house-it's about finding a home."
Conversational in Russian and Hebrew, Margarita lives with her husband, Mike, and dog, Toby. Her hobbies include travel, the arts, tennis, and working out. Active in her community, she is a regular volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital. "Bringing joy to any child is a gift in itself, especially a child whose life has taken a step back."
