Kadie started her career promptly after graduation with Enterprise Holdings as a sales representative. Her success provided her with the opportunity to move up as an Assistant Branch Manager. Several years later, she was presented with the opportunity to start a career with National Oilwell Varco. Throughout her NOV career, she transitioned through several different departments, which allowed her to expand her knowledge on many different topics. Although Kadie's career was extremely important to her, she also shared a passion for those in her community as well as those surrounding her. Kadie has been involved in organizations, which include United Way, Susan G. Komen, and served on the board for Society of Professional Women in Petroleum. Her passion for caring for others is what drove her to her career in real estate. Additionally, Kadie enjoys interior design/interior decorating, not only for her own home, but others' as well. Every time Emmy Rhoades thinks of her parent's advice — "follow your dreams and be a better person" — she does just that. Though she started in the industry just over two years ago, real estate has always been a passion for the owner of Realty World Elite Group. Rhoades' biggest sales accomplishment in the past year was taking over an expired listing that had been sitting on the market for more than 12 months. "Several offers and deals came in, but many unusual roadblocks interfered with the transactions. The emotions ran high and my seller was about to give up," she says, noting she remained calm despite the many hurdles. "Because of my past experiences as an investor and through my CIPS training, I was able to convince an investor that this was a great deal."

Rhoades maintains balance in her life by cooking, traveling and spending quality time with family. Experiencing the joys and pains of motherhood has contributed to her success by making her stronger. "I am not a quitter," she says. "I am fueled by challenges and not afraid to face problems.

Prior to knowing Emmy as our realtor, she had been a friend to my wife and family for nearly a decade. She would often invite us to gatherings at her home and would often call to make sure we were coming and when we were there check that we were enjoying ourselves. Always comfortable with people and with her ability to find an association with nearly everyone, it was an extraordinary fit that she had become a realtor. Over the years I have purchased and sold a few homes, some by myself and others through a realtor. Prior to working with Emmy, my experiences with realtors has always been rather negative. Usually, I found myself on a need to know basis and often time the realtors I worked with were either completely unavailable or unable to do their job. I often found them to be the crux of either my purchase or sale. It has not been like that with Emmy. When my family grew and we needed to expand we decided that going with her was our best option. She helped us get with a good mortgage company and worked with us when we had questions that we hadn't thought of until 10 pm on a Sunday evening. Our home closing went through on time with no surprises or last minute gotchas which is, honestly, the biggest fear when purchasing a new home.

My family grew once again when we inherited my mother; We needed a larger home and we needed to sell our current home. Once again, we were working with Emmy to find our newest homestead. Even with her own family emergency back in the Philippines, Emmy contacted us and while she was away had someone she trusted in her place to make sure that we were being worked with and not forgotten as some other would possibly have done. As soon as she returned, Emmy was able to help us pinpoint, once again, a home that met exactly what we were looking for and negotiated the best price in a very nice neighborhood. As we prepare for the inevitable sale, I am looking forward to selling my home with Emmy. She is quick to offer pointers and ideas to help us with our next steps in selling our home. She already knows the pricing in our area and has already begun put together a plan to help get our old home sold and my family happily in their new home. Had she been the first realtor I had worked with I think the bar for realtors would have been set so high that I would have absolutely refused to work with anyone else in the business.
