Hi! My name's Chelsea Contravis and I'm a realtor with Redfin Real Estate. I became a realtor because I believe everyone's deserving of a beautiful home. I longed to provide a better-quality service to the earth, and Real Estate is the perfect vehicle to connect to society. My goal is to build a house of worship to leave behind goodness in the world after I'm gone, and I believe Real Estate can help me to achieve this. I have been an artist all my life, which encourages me to try new things, such as learning new languages and cultures. In my spare time I enjoy long drives and talks with my daughter, visiting the ocean where I spent my childhood, and stimulating peace into my life with prayerful meditation. Cathy graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a BS in Civil Engineering. She had a successful career for 11 years, specializing in transportation and land development, earning her Professional Engineers License. Using her engineering background, she enjoys looking for the potential in every property and realizes that in order to achieve your goals during the buying and selling process, your relationship with your agent is of paramount importance. She is committed to earning your trust by providing excellent customer service based on knowledge of the area, loyalty and integrity. She specializes in the Memorial Villages, and has worked in Katy, Sugarland and Gonzales County. She is uniquely positioned to help with your search or sale of country property, having completed several deals in Gonzales County, as well as owning and managing a small cattle ranch near Moulton, Texas. Cathy and her husband David have lived in Houston since 1992. They have raised 6 children while living in Spring Valley and are members at Grace Presbyterian Church, serving as elders, teaching Sunday School and Bible Study. Their children have attended Baylor University, and are attending Texas A&M University and the University of Oklahoma. When they aren't busy in Houston or visiting their kids, David and Cathy enjoy spending time at their ranch near Moulton, Texas.
