Saeed Tellawi is a real estate broker and attorney representing domestic and international business owners and real estate investors. His practice focuses on the strategic uses of business entities and the acquisition of businesses and real estate. Saeed was recently named Top Lawyer by both Houstonia Magazine and H Texas Magazine in 2016 and 2017, nominations earned from his peers in the legal industry. In 2015, Amaral Tellawi Law was a finalist for Texas Family Business of the Year at Baylor University's Institute for Family Business. Starting his first company at the age of 18 and being continuously self-employed since then has helped Saeed develop a practical approach to both law and business. Saeed obtained his Texas real estate license in 2005 and then his real estate broker license in 2007, initially representing buyers and tenants of commercial real estate and managing properties for his clients. In 2007, Saeed also earned his bar card. His initial practice involved representing companies in contract disputes. Since then, his practice shifted and he has made significant contributions in business and real estate transactions, with involvement in a vast array of start-ups, purchases, and dispositions for local and international clients. Impressed by the many who helped him along the way, Saeed aims to give back to the Houston community by providing pro bono or reduced-fee legal services to entrepreneurs who lack the means or information to bring their dreams to fruition. Saeed was recently a mentor at the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston. Drawing on his own experiences and those of the clients he's assisted, Saeed Tellawi helps clients achieve the freedom of self-employment.

My focus is balancing a successful career with raising my children and Family. With a diverse, international background, I bring a unique perspective to real estate. My journey began in the Netherlands, leveraging corporate and business development experience. In 2022, a job opportunity brought us to Houston, which has been the best move for our family. Much that Tongela has been given naturally and has experienced to date has prepared her well to succeed as a Realtor. The great-granddaughter of an entrepreneur, Tongela built a hair design business from infancy to a six-figure enterprise servicing celebrities and community leaders. With her eye on one day making a positive impact in the real estate industry, she pursued her passion for helping investors accumulate property and linking them with buyers as a consultant which included negotiating million dollar deals.

Tongela is a native Houstonian and author who has a heart for volunteering her gifts and talents in the community – especially for women at risk, the elderly, and babies. She has hosted empowerment sessions for women and has spoken to audiences of thousands. Organizations that have benefitted from her time and resources include Santa Maria Hostel, The Source, Impacting Change and Lakewood.

Tongela grew up listening to and attending Astros games but counts basketball and football as her favorite sports – to the extent that she will travel the globe to see her favorite players play. She loves to shadow her dad who teaches golf and dreams of one day playing at Myrtle Beach and other top courses.
