A lifelong equestrian, Kate is also President of Shadyside Farms, a boarding and training facility for Hunters and Jumpers which she has owned and managed since 1991. Shadyside Farms has facilities in Montgomery and Waller counties that board hunters, jumpers, and polo ponies. Through her 25 years of managing, training, and competing in the horse world, Kate has extensive knowledge of the farm and ranch properties and equestrian facilities in the areas surrounding Houston. Kate graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Science degree in Architectural History and Preservation. She lives in Houston with her husband, Steve Gibson and three children.
