As both a Realtor and builder, Jose Ocque brings a unique perspective to the Better Homes & Gardens - Gary Greene team, where he is known for his professionalism, passion and creativity. A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Jose moved to the US in 2000 to study at the University of Oklahoma, earning a BS in Construction Science with a minor in Architecture. Following graduation, he spent seven years at Home Creations, Oklahoma's largest production home builder, where he managed all phases of the construction process. Completing more than 300 homes and selling in excess of $40 million in inventory, Jose's work garnered professional recognition and accolades, including Builder of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. In 2012, eager to move into the custom market, he founded VenHomes and soon landed on OKC magazine's 40 under 40 list for his entrepreneurship. With a desire to further grow VenHomes and refine his business model, Jose relocated to Houston in 2015, subsequently expanding into speculative building and remodeling, as well as earning his Realtor license.?
