We have two daughters, 10 and 8 years old. I have a passion for public education and have been very active in our school's PTO, including serving as president for the past four years. Our family loves to travel and enjoys spending weekends on Towne Lake in our boat and watching our girls play soccer and swim.

The passing of her mother from cancer has inspired Alexis to volunteer for the American Cancer Society, whose hard work is helping fund the fight to find a cure.
