Taresa rejoined the Real Estate Professional community in April of 2015 having been a licensed agent from 1991 to 1995 and returned in 2015 after a successful career as a Controller, CPA, Accounting Software Consultant and IT Professional. Taresa has achieved the prestigious GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) Designation, Accredited Buyer Representative Designation (ABR®), the Accredited Staging Professional® Designation, the TRLS (Texas Residential Leasing Specialist) Designation and the NHC (New Home Construction - Buyer Representative) Designation and the SRS (Seller Representative Specialist), the ALHS (Accredited Luxury Home Specialist) Designation.

My name is Amy and I currently with EXP Realty. I came from Victoria, TX, I have been living in Houston, TX for over 10 years. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration and have over 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Billing Industry. Recently, I decided to get a real estate license to help my friends and family with their real estate investments, offering support throughout the process to ensure their investments are valuable. I am licensed in both Florida and Texas. Florida feels like a second home to me and there are many Vietnamese people in Florida who need a real estate agent that speaks Vietnamese, which is one of the reasons why I obtained my license in Florida. Betsy Vanderbrouk "sold" her first house as a young teenager – and was hooked. Betsy grew up observing her Realtor-mother negotiate high-end residential real estate transactions, and what she learned made an indelible impression. At the age of 14, and with her mother out of town, she successfully matched a buyer to a house and enlisted her mother's working partner to finalize the offer. Betsy's mother was stunned but pleased and paid her a $40 commission, an important learning experience on the value of up-front, clear negotiation (even with your mother) that Betsy never forgot.

Since her "official" real estate debut in 1993, Betsy has achieved top-tier production and a reputation as a hard-working team player with top-notch organization, marketing, and of course, negotiating skills. No stranger to relocation on a personal level, Betsy and her family relocated to London for two years with a corporate move in the early 1990s. She understands that moving a family entails far more than just finding a house and gives focused attention and care to every aspect of a client's move into or out of Houston.

Always a ready volunteer, Betsy was a Guardian Ad Litem for Child Advocates for many years and an active participant in projects at Palmer Memorial Church where she is a member. She helped start such successful and well-known events as the Memorial Villages 4th of July Parade, Memorial Villages National Night Out, and numerous other community sponsored and underwritten projects. When her children were in school, she was an active volunteer at St. Francis Episcopal School, St. John's School, Spring Branch Middle School and Memorial High School.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Betsy graduated from Chatham Hall in Virginia and the University of Arizona. She lived with her family in Piney Point Village for more than 20 years and taught at the St. Francis Children's Center for six years. Betsy is the mother of two adult sons: Christian, who lives in New York City with his wife and two young boys; and Peter, who lives in Colorado Springs with his wife. She enjoys antiquing and "traveling anywhere" but especially to New York and Colorado to visit her family.
