I earned first place in the 1996 marketing competition in the prestigious regional colleges of Wisconsin. Born in Virginia and raised in Washington, D.C., Marsha graduated from the University of Maryland. Before her career in real estate, she moved to Houston to work for a multi-national corporation. Marsha later founded and was the president of a temporary placement firm for 15 years in north Houston. Always interested in real estate, she purchased her first investment property when she was 25.

When not selling real estate, Marsha enjoys singing in her church choir and teaching Sunday school with her husband. She and her husband, who is from Holland, are the parents of three adopted daughters from China who attend Awty International and The University of Texas at Austin. Marsha is an active volunteer for the Awty International School annual fund drive, the Awty Gala Committee, and Rice University International Students.
