Ken and Montse Foster join service-based forces to best serve their MK Metropolitan Real Estate Team clients. With a shared background in the airline industry, they bring an extensive history of customer service that prioritizes care and hospitality for those around them.
Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Montse was raised by her grandmother and spent summers with family in Merida Yucatán Peninsula. At the age of eight, she and her mother moved to Huntington Beach, California, where Montse learned English and discovered a knack for communicating and connecting people.
Shortly after high school, Montse enrolled in the Wilma Boyd School of Travel and served as a flight attendant until the tragedy of 9/11. At the urging of a friend, she looked into real estate to put her service and people skills to use. Initially hesitant of entering the field, Montse has spent the past 15 years realizing her strengths best equip her to take care of clients by carefully listing, communicating the process, and making sure they are confident and comfortable with their buying and selling process.
Growing up in Ohio, Ken began his fifteen-year career with the airlines after graduation as he took college classes along the way. Climbing the ladder from a janitor to manager of USAirways' international operation in Philadelphia, Ken then worked in management for New York Life Insurance Company (where he retired after 23 years in leadership). He found great pride and joy in developing and leading his team members through their professional growth, a strong foundation for guiding clients through their homeownership journey, from starter home to retirement home and those in-between.
When not assisting clients, Ken and Montse enjoy staying active and traveling. They have supported, with both time and resources, the Houston Food Bank for several years. They specialize in first-time home buyers, luxury properties, and working with international buyers (particularly those from Mexico and South America) & people relocating to the Houston area. Their focus lies in listening carefully to clients' wishes and treating them with respect as they carry out their fiduciary duties with professionalism and passion.

The decision to become a realtor was easily made when I struggled with a less than impressive realtor on the sale of my own home. Going one step beyond, I did what was needed to be done, and sold my house on my own. The time was right for me to become a realtor. I received the education required and easily stepped into the role. Having previously owned and managed a travel agency, I have business and management experience. I joined Better Homes & Gardens-Gary Greene Realtors (previously Prudential Gary Greene Realtors) in 2005 and completed their extensive training program. Service at a higher level is what you will receive from me.
As a Realtor®, I'm dedicated to helping my clients find the home of their dreams. Whether you are buying or selling a home or just curious about the local market, I would love to offer my support and services. I know the local community both as an agent and a neighbor and can help guide you through the nuances of our local market. With access to top listings, a worldwide network, exceptional marketing strategies and cutting-edge technology, I work hard to make your real estate experience memorable and enjoyable.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you. Please don't hesitate to contact me today
