Career Coast Guard Veteran and Entrepreneur. Licensed Texas Realtor for over 15 years. During my Coast Guard career, in addition to my operational assignments in Homeland Security, Commercial Vessel Safety and Marine Environmental Protection, I also had several assignments in Recruiting. I enlisted in the Coast Guard, and ultimately retired as a Commander. Twilight assignments included Executive Officer of Coast Guard Marine Safety Office, Galveston, TX, and Commanding Officer of Coast Guard Marine Safety Office Memphis, TN. As a Recruiter, I found myself selling a way of life, and observed people transcend one culture into another. As I rose up through the ranks, and was put in positions of making decisions that affected the lives of others, I became adept in care taking; the ability to make sound decisions taking into consideration a person's professional as well as personal life. I also became adept at tact & diplomacy in my role as a Federal Regulator working with the Maritime Industry. My name is Teresa Scott (nickname Tami). I am a Real Estate professional in the Katy/Greater Houston area. I have lived in Houston, Texas area since 1978 where I call Katy my home (prior to that I grew up as a Military dependent). My husband and I have raised 6 wonderful children and currently have 12 grand children (number 13 due soon). We enjoy spending time with Family & Friends, traveling, theater, sports, and many outdoor activities.
