Native Houstonian Sande Ferguson brings an enviable portfolio of experience to her career as a residential Realtor at Fitzgerald Properties. A Realtor since 1991, Sande entered the business from a ten-year career in the fast-paced advertising world, which proved to be an excellent training ground for the real estate process.
“In the ten years that I spent in advertising, I became very consumer-oriented and team-oriented, always keeping an eye on the big picture,” Sande says. “I still work that way and it’s incredibly applicable to residential real estate sales because of the number of people involved in the average real estate transaction.”

Sande grew up in West University and graduated from Mirabeau B. Lamar High School. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and earned a BBA degree in marketing. Sande spends as much time as possible with her eight great nieces and nephews to whom she is devoted. “There is nothing more exciting to me than watching them grow and evolve into strong individuals with their own interests and passions. They are each so very special and I am blessed beyond words to have them in my life.”
A lover of sports, especially Longhorn football, and the outdoors, Sande enjoys a range of activities from tennis to sailing to gardening. She half-jokes that her rescue pets, dachshund Cam and Miss Kitty, are teaching her Zen meditation. “They are always firmly rooted in the moment and teach me by example to do the same,” Sande says. “I am a slow but dedicated and persistent student and they are patient and loving teachers.”
