About Me

As a native Houstonian I grew up attending Cy-Fair schools and the University of Houston where I received my BBA in Marketing and a Minor in Sales.

I’ve worked with tenants in the commercial real estate industry for several years and my primary focus was delivering the best customer service that I was capable of.  After years of corporate work, my husband helped me decide that my true passion for helping people would be better suited in the residential sector where my motivation to help others, friendly nature and outgoing personality would be embraced.

Melissa “Mel” Aljoe was born in Singapore and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where she graduated from Elkins High School. She attended Texas A & M University, College Station, TX, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History and a Masters in Education. She moved to Houston and spent the next seven years as a high school history teacher and volleyball and golf coach.

When Melissa decided to make a career change she chose to become a full time professional Realtor. It has turned out to be a great choice because she has always had an interest in real estate, loves to meet new people, and loves to help her clients find the perfect homes for their families. Melissa is dedicated to going above and beyond what is necessary to make sure her clients have smooth and stress-free real estate transactions. In her spare time, Melissa loves her family, a good book, Aggie football, and spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. She is married to Jeremy Aljoe. Courtney Bullard Duperier, a native Houstonian and Tanglewood resident, offers invaluable knowledge of the city and its many diverse neighborhoods. Her passion is real estate, and she tirelessly devotes seven days a week to her profession. Courtney's objective is to make her clients' buying and selling process a worry-free experience. She receives great satisfaction in finding the perfect fit for buyers and sellers and feels honored to have loyal clients and their referrals. She attributes her strong work ethic, vast market knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm and top negotiation skills as keys to her continued success.

Growing up in Houston, Courtney attended St. Luke's Methodist Day School, River Oaks Baptist Church School, Lanier Middle School and Lamar High School. She graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson, with a BA in Spanish Literature and Minor in Sociology. While attending U of A, she was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and also furthered her studies abroad while living in Guadalajara, Mexico. While in college, Courtney interned with Grubb & Ellis Commercial to explore commercial real estate but knew her true calling was working in the residential market.

Courtney also finds time to dedicate countless hours to animal rescue and is heavily involved in Houston's dog rescue scene. She supports a multitude of amazing rescue groups including Lola's Lucky Day, Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission and A.D.O.R.E. Houston. In addition to dog rescue, she spends time volunteering for Houston's homeless and frequently holds clothing drives for Star of Hope. She feels giving back to her community is one of the most important gifts she can give. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys traveling with her husband and son, spending time at their families' homes in Galveston and Orange Beach, and relaxing with their four dogs.

As a native Houstonian I have a firm knowledge of the area, the culture, and the trends. I am high energy, but not an alarmist. I tend to tackle challenges with a calm demeanor and don't get riled up by much. Normally, a cool head works best :) Buying or selling a home can create levels of high stress, but I am here to try and take as much of that on myself as possible. I am a wife and mother of 3, and also serve in my local community on a weekly basis through my church. The life of my career has been an eclectic one, "Jane of All Trades" if you will.
