Since obtaining my real estate license in 2016, I have specialized in various niches, including residential, new construction, farm and ranch, minerals, investment properties, commercial real estate, and coastal real estate sales through Legend Texas Properties. As an Investor/Agent, I operate two real estate investment companies, driven by a passion for addressing the affordable housing crisis and restoring dilapidated homes. My favorite strategies for clients include the BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) method and House Hacking, both of which I practice personally and have extensive knowledge about. I hold a BBA with a minor in Management from Sam Houston State University. Although I initially began my career in the oil and gas industry, I quickly transitioned into real estate to leverage my degree and pursue my passion for investing. Kimberly Gaido was born and raised in Galveston and has a sincere passion for life on the Island. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where she held membership as a Pi Beta Phi and a scholarship to the tennis team for 4 years. Kimberly spent 20 years in the hospitality business perfecting her customer service skills. She also obtained a culinary arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York where she learned how to entertain friends and family with culinary delights. For the past 15 years Kimberly has been involved in outside sales within the medical field. Her years in sales coupled with customer service have taught her that strong values, integrity and passion are the cornerstones to building trust and finding a customer the right home to fit their needs. Growing up around the water Kimberly has a particular love for fishing and hunting. Her children are her six English pointers and Labradors that keep her company in the duck blind and roaming the south Texas senderos. In the summer, if not in the office, you will find her playing golf at the Galveston Country Club or fishing the Galveston Bays.

As a native Galvestonian (BOI) Born on the island has always been a special place for me. After graduating, from Ball High School, I went to work for The San Luis Resort as the Condominium Concierge. While being a great opportunity to meet many interesting people who visit the Island such as Vice President Al Gore, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Francis Newman Moody, Ruth Harris Kempner and Mr. and Mrs. Hershey (chocolate) six generation descendants from Pennsylvania, I went off to Pharmacy school in South Dakota. Then I went to work for Rapid Regional Hospital Pharmacy and Pharmerica. While expanding my knowledge of Medicines I still yearn to be back home in Galveston, an island with its rich and colorful history. The next 15 years were very busy for me while filling prescriptions at Walmart Pharmacy at the same time I took on a Management position with ABL Management. During this busy period I began to invest in my future with real estate which peeked my interest. Now as a Realtor I am able to pursue my passion for real estate and customer service in facilitating your buying and selling experience in a professional environment. After 20 years in the financial industry my husband and I had the opportunity, after sending our youngest to college, to become "full timers", traveling the U.S. in our motor home. We have recently returned and I wanted to become a REALTOR to help folks with one of the most important decisions of our lives. In 2017, Lyndsey founded Galveston Vacation Real Estate, after successfully owning and operating Pointe West Properties, a vacation rental management company and brokerage. This venture helped Lyndsey to fine-tune her abilities in the second home real estate market and also gave her a deep understanding of the vacation rental industry during its formative years.

Her success was evident when her company, Pointe West Properties, was acquired by Vacasa in 2015. This was a significant achievement as it marked Vacasa's first acquisition in Texas, demonstrating their trust and confidence in Lyndsey's capabilities and business acumen.

In 2017, she continued to build on her success in the real estate industry with the establishment of her second independent real estate brokerage, Galveston Vacation Real Estate.
