In addition to her real estate work, Shani is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Oppe Elementary PTO, where her daughter attends school. She is also associated with the Galveston Association of Realtors (GAR) and the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR). Moreover, she volunteers her time at The Grand 1894 Opera House, showcasing her commitment to giving back.

Shani has a strong connection to nature and water, which is what brought her family to Galveston Island. She is a wife and a mother of two, with her daughter attending Oppe Elementary and participating in the Galveston gymnastics team. Her husband and son share her love for the outdoors and water activities, particularly fishing in West Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Shani's early life took place in Elkhart, Kansas, and she was raised on her family's farm in Dalhart, Texas. Throughout high school and college, she was involved in rodeo, including being a Trick-rider for the 777 Rodeo Company. She pursued a nursing career during college, earning a license in Vocational Nursing from Navarro College. Shani worked as an administrative nurse in geriatric care before transitioning to real estate in the summer of 2022 when she obtained her real estate license.

Together, they have two children and three grandchildren. Outside of her family, Jerri is most proud of her previous professional accomplishments. As a native Galvestonian (BOI) Born on the island has always been a special place for me. After graduating, from Ball High School, I went to work for The San Luis Resort as the Condominium Concierge. While being a great opportunity to meet many interesting people who visit the Island such as Vice President Al Gore, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Francis Newman Moody, Ruth Harris Kempner and Mr. and Mrs. Hershey (chocolate) six generation descendants from Pennsylvania, I went off to Pharmacy school in South Dakota. Then I went to work for Rapid Regional Hospital Pharmacy and Pharmerica. While expanding my knowledge of Medicines I still yearn to be back home in Galveston, an island with its rich and colorful history. The next 15 years were very busy for me while filling prescriptions at Walmart Pharmacy at the same time I took on a Management position with ABL Management. During this busy period I began to invest in my future with real estate which peeked my interest. Now as a Realtor I am able to pursue my passion for real estate and customer service in facilitating your buying and selling experience in a professional environment.
