I started my career in real estate in February, 2013 in Dallas/Fort Worth as a part time agent representing buyers. Because of my passion for helping others buy and sell real estate I made the move from Fort Worth to Galveston to pursue a full time career in real estate. I am a real estate professional with integrity, professionalism, effective communication/negotiation skills and one who will always put your interests and needs first.

I have spent my entire career in service related industries, including 20 years with Frito Lay Inc., who encouraged development of strengths. This helped me to hone strong negotiation skills, management of detailed processes, expertise in interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with all types of people. My keen attention to detail has helped my clients avoid unnecessary headaches, delays and excess expenditures and I have a personal passion for helping others reach their desired goal or outcome.

On a personal note, I have been married to my amazing wife for over 34 years and have 3 daughters and 3 dogs. I enjoy all the benefits of island life including golf, fishing, kayaking and everything else the island has to offer.

I have been in sales and marketing for over 30 years providing marine in the marine industry along the gulf coast. I currently own and operate a family tire business and I am a principal owner in a development company that designs & build residential homes. I have always had a passion for helping people, I was a registered nurse for many years as well as a personal trainer. After relocating to Jamaica beach in 2014, I made the professional change to real estate. I make customer service my number one priority when finding my client's their dream home. I am hard-working, devoted and don't stop until the job is done right! I currently live on Dickinson Bay with my husband where we enjoy hosting guest, playing with our dogs, and evening golf cart rides. I also have a big adventure side, I love paddle boarding, cycling and crossfit. One of my biggest joys is spending time with our two children.

Alison Christensen grew up in Houston and earned her B.A. degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University. A family vacation home in Galveston in the 90's turned into a permanent residence in 2003. "It wasn't a difficult choice: we loved the pace of 'island time' and found ourselves spending more and more time down here." Alison has an extensive knowledge of Galveston's coastal market: the West End, from beach to bay; the myriad neighborhoods - new and old - tucked throughout the island; and the windstorm and flood insurance requirements important to all property owners. "I was raised in Houston, and now Galveston is my home. I've had the best of both worlds. This combination helps me better understand and assist buyers and sellers in our market." Active in the community, she attends St. Mary's Catholic Church; volunteers with the Bryan Museum; serves as a docent with the Galveston Historic Homes Tour each May; serves on the Board of the Friends of Rosenberg Library. In 2018, Alison was elected to the Board of the Galveston Association of Realtors, and was also the featured realtor in an episode of "Beach Front Bargain Hunt" on HGTV. When she is not working with clients, Alison enjoys estate sales and vintage shops, trips to New Orleans, and entertaining her friends and family at her father's farm near Brenham.
