I was born and raised on Galveston Island, so I know the Island well. Previously I worked in banking. I worked my way from teller to Southwest Regional Trainer. After getting married, I switched careers and went into the Insurance field. I worked here for over 25 years and still maintain this license. I am experienced in both residential and commercial insurance, which makes me an asset when shopping for a home. I'm married and have a daughter that recently graduated from Texas A&M University. Once my daughter began college, I decided to go back to school and get my Real Estate License. It has been a very rewarding decision. I continue to educate myself and recently received my Certified Negotiation Expert designation. I absolutely love helping dreams come true.I believe in giving back to the community, I do this by my volunteer activities with the Galveston Noon Optimist Club and the Galveston Elks Lodge.I have served on the board of my neighborhood HOA board and was instrumental in overseeing the remodeling of our neighborhood park. About Me:

Originally from Michigan, I lived in San Diego for ten years after graduating college until my wife and I moved to Texas to be closer to her family. Prior to real estate, I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. As a real estate broker, my mission is to introduce buyers to a community where they feel a connection, and help sellers with the sale of their home so that they can experience a smooth transition into the home that best accommodates their current needs and situation.

Stemming from my desire to interact with people in a challenging career, business endeavors range from the telecommunications industry where I held positions in management, to working with my family's beach rental business.

After recognizing the potential in the vacation home business, I earned my real estate license in order to take a more active role in the family business, as well as expand my own business into residential sales.

Determined, hardworking, knowledgeable, and adaptable are a few of the characteristics that attribute to my success. However, my incomparable strength is attention to detail, which is an instrumental component in every phase of the real estate transaction. Furthermore, I emphasize the importance of communication, which is paramount to delivering exemplary customer service. A Little About Me-

My interest and passion for Real Estate began in the early 1990's, when my husband and I were beginning the search for our first home. Since then, we have moved 6 times and lived in 4 cities in Texas. Four of these moves included building our new home. I just love the process and, yes, we are still happily married!



In the early 2000's, we continued our Real Estate adventure and purchased, remodeled and flipped 2 properties in the North Houston area. I would have to say that our very latest endeavors have been my favorite, so far. In 2019, we purchased a 1913 historic cottage, in Galveston, and completely remodeled it. We maintained the historic features and charm of the home, while bringing it up to date with all the modern conveniences. The home was featured on the GHF Historic Home Tour in 2021. We are now working on a 1900 Storm Survivor, that will hit the market soon! Having lived on the island in my youth, I grew to love everything about Galveston. I want to share that love and experience with others and can't wait to help you find your perfect Island home.

Kyle Carranza was born in Kansas but raised in Texas City, TX. He grew up playing baseball and loves to be surrounded by family and friends. After high school he lived in San Antonio, TX for 4 years to pursue a career in the medical field. In 2019, he decided to switch careers and got his Texas Real Estate license, closing over $700k in total sales volume his first year. In 2020, he has closed over 1.4 million in total sales volume and is not done yet.
