I started my career in real estate in February, 2013 in Dallas/Fort Worth as a part time agent representing buyers. Because of my passion for helping others buy and sell real estate I made the move from Fort Worth to Galveston to pursue a full time career in real estate. While at A&M Jason worked as a personal trainer, vacation rental agent, appraiser's apprentice, and received his Real Estate license. Beginning as a Realtor in August 1967, and receiving my Brokers license in August of 1972. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I worked in the title Industry as a runner, an abstractor, an examiner and then closer (today referred to as an escrow officer.) The title business led to my interest in real estate. Residential, as well as commercial, are my areas of expertise. I recently received the designation of REALTOR EMERITUS from the National Association of REALTORS for having served over 40 years to our industry.I have been a past President of the Galveston Association of REALTORS, served on various committees, including Professional Standards, Education , MLS and Secretary of the Board of Directors. Voted Best REALTOR in Galveston in 2003 by the Galveston County Daily News . I was an adjunct instructor in real estate for 17 years at Galveston College. Taught many courses in different areas of our business. I participated in several developments of historical properties on the island as well as resort properties on the west end beach and bay areas. Recently honored by my colleague's with the Golden Heart Award for being the most helpful in our office to other agents!
Even though technology is a major force in our industry today, I still believe that personal service one-on-one or face-to-face with our clients, is the best way to build lasting relationships. Some of my closest friends started as Prospects, then Buyer or Seller Customers, many more than once or twice.

I accomplished my lifelong dream of living on the beach back in 2003 when I moved to Galveston. I graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston and began working in my community as a historic restoration contractor. I have invested in the community by buying and restoring homes in Galveston. I have personal experience with short term vacation rentals, long term rentals, flipping homes, and finding forever homes. I will be in Galveston until my children (3 & 6 yo) have a family of their own, unless I can convince them to stay!
I hope to see you out in the surf, or cruising my bike on the seawall and through historic neighborhoods with my family. When I am not on the beach, or working on restoring my own historic Galveston home, I enjoy road trips with my friends and family, and trail riding in Houston's own national forest.
