Reid Nelson is a native Galvestonian who earned his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX and his law degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX. After successful careers in law and insurance, Reid returned to Galveston in 2017 to get back to his roots. Reid knows the island and its people inside and out. His clients will benefit not only from his legal and insurance expertise, but also from his true love of this town. Outside of the office, Reid loves to drive down the Seawall to check on the water, coach his kids' sports teams, and catch a few Ball High football games.

Barbara has been a Real Estate Broker for the last 20 years and has been a top producer in the real estate markets in Houston. Houston real estate is constantly changing and becomes more challenging and sophisticated every year. Barbara is consistently informed on market trends, helping Clients make the best decisions possible in buying or selling real estate. Customers and Clients value her experience,positive attitude, and patience on working on any real estate transactions.

Besides being passionate about real estate, Barbara is very active in her community and has served on many Children's charities through her membership with Houston Junior Women Club. Barbara is married to Jerry Gready and they live in Whispering Oaks.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, I received my Bachelors degree there, and received my MBA in Toronto, Canada. I left the corporate world after 20 years in a high-tech industry, looking for a new and different challenge. Residential and commercial real estate is the next logical step on the professional ladder for me, since I have always wanted to help people make investment or change-choices of their own.

My promise is to share ideas, educate, and use my aptitude for numbers and technology to make a difference when you sell or buy.  With the increasing number of new homes being built, the average person making a home change every 5 to 8 years, and businesses making changes to adapt to these new developments, there are a lot of opportunities to buy, sell and invest in real estate.   

I continue to diversify in real estate making it easier for me to answer your questions and give you real advice. In 2012 I formed RockCenter Realty, as Broker Owner, after 8 years as a Realtor with a national company. I believe that one can do anything that one believes in.

I have been on the Boards of Directors of 2 major subdivisions, been Chairperson of the Fort Bend chapter of HAR for 2 years, assisted clients in becoming investors, have become an investor myself with properties providing retirement income, manage my own properties and my clients properties, and managed a condo Home Owners Association in Galveston, Texas.
